I’m Julie.

I have studied Media and Culture at the University of Amsterdam where I got my masters degree in 2006. In 2008 I went on a bike ride from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Beijing (China) for 6 months. During this trip my urge to tell stories, and my interests in foreign cultures and ethnographies grew heavily.

I still have that urge to go abroad and to show and tell.

After a few years of working in the film as a setdresser, art-assistant and cook (besides travelling, cycling and doing some other jobs), I decided to broaden the knowledge on my field of studies with the master Visual and Media Anthropology.

Who knows where it will take me…
